Mr. Franc Rocheleau,

After researching boots on the web I recently ordered a pair of Chippewa EMT boots from your company.  They arrived within three days of placing the order and I just laced them up last night.  I'll be shining and breaking them in over the next week when I ride in uniform with our motor officers to the Arizona Law Enforcement Memorial on May 5.

Being an old motor officer I still appreciate spit shined boots.  The Chippewas are definately one of the most shineable boots I've seen.  I'm impressed with the quality and fit for the price. I'm amazed that they are "blems," which were the only available boots in my preferred make/model and size.

You may be the same gentleman I talked to over the phone when I placed my
ordered.   If you are, thanks for checking the boots while we were on the
telephone and thanks for your overall excellent service.

Hello,  I recently received my boots boxed and in good condition.
Brown over Black #D102226, ladies shoe-boots. I only have one small suggestion, (small gripe). I noted that the boots are not 100% leather, but have manmade materials included. I would recommend that you post this information, (I know you have limited space) as it would have influenced my decision on purchasing. Thank you very much, and for including your business card with the receipt. I like that touch. I will look forward to future business... and in future, I will email for further description of the boot/shoe to include if it has manmade materials.

just got my new Chippewa #90700 ( 17 inch steel toed poleclimbers that bikers love) Today.  I ordered them last month, but my bike broke down and i (sic) had to cancel my order to be able to fix the bike.
I was able to order them less than a week ago, and i was surprised how fast the got here to AZ, and after I opened the box, WOW what a deal, they are more then i expected, GREAT.
i (sic)looked around before ordering and I'm so glade I got them from you, and a free shirt to boot.
it's 110 degrees here, I was going to wait for winter to wear them but I got them on now, I couldn't wait.

I just wanted to take a second and thank you for your service and product.
My wife gave me a budget of "about $100.00" for snake proof boots. My first
thought was Gokey boots, which my grandfather had always worn. $400.00.
Way out of the price range.

My second search got me to Chippewa boots. My first click found me a pair
of Chippewa boots at Sheplers online for $174.00. Still too much. Next
click found them for a couple of places for $134.00. Better, but still too
far off.

Next click got me to www.bootsusa.com     $109.00 for the same boots I had been
looking for. Only difference was that they were "blemished". Considering
what I have planned for them, who cares? Too good to be true. I knew there
were some surprises ahead, and there were. I'll list them:

1. You actually had my size.
2. You told me that they were $95.00 instead of $109.00.
3. You called me back after checking your stock, like you said you would.
4. You didn't have a "shipping and handling fee". By the way, the postage
on the boots was $12.85. You charged me $12.80.
5. The boots look absolutely perfect, fit correctly, and arrived a day
early.

You got me in at $111.40. We take a lot for granted these days, and I think
most of us have come to expect mediocre service. Because of this,
outstanding service like I received from your company truly stands out. I
am delighted with my purchase and will recommend you and your business
whenever I get the chance. Thank you for including your business cards, and
thanks for the T-shirt.

Franc, 4 years ago I bought my wife a pair of boots at your shop in the Mile
High Flea Market, so when I recently started shopping around for a pair of
boots for wildland firefighting you were one of the places I called.  You
talked me into a pair of blem. Chippewa Loggers - #25510 and said that this
is one of the main models you sell for wildland fires.  The boots are more
than I expected!  Not only did I get an American made boot, I also got a
pair of boots that is extremely comfortable.  Not going to be a problem
wearing these for 2 weeks straight on the fireline!  While breaking them in
at work I have already given one of your business cards to 2 others that
like the look of my boots and are thinking about getting a pair for work.
Any of our other firefighters that will be doing wildland have also heard

the boots just arrived...exactly as you discribed 'em.   They fit as well!...

I'll tell the guys about your store but if anyone else orders, it would be a very good idea to wrap the box and mark it as a "GIFT"...or at least value it at $30.00 or somethig like that.

Problem in the UK is that our lovelygovernment is the biggest thief in the western world!...we pay 85% tax on gasoline, 300% tax on tobacco, 95% tax on beer (Its no surprise that every assylum seeker this side of the Atlantic travels all the way from Asia and Europe to get to the UK!!! everything's free for parasites)

Anyway, the point is i just had to pay the equivenent of $55.00 tax and duty to recieve the boots valued at $109.95...can you believe that?...50% tax!!...its true.

My $2000 Gretch guitar from CA cost nothing in theft duty as it was mark a "gift"

Hi

Just received your credit statement regarding the boots that I returned .
Regretfully, after all the business we have done together, I see that you
credited back the price of the boots and then deducted a $5.00 Damaged Box fee.
The box was in the same damaged condition when I received it in and if the post office
destroyed it in transit to me or to you doesn't seem quite right to charge me for it. 
Why not go after them for damages since I know when I ship, I insure. 
I think you do as well. 
Anyway, it is not the $5.00 but the principle behind it that bothers me.

impressed with the boot and BootsUSA. i'm still looking for the "blem" -
"usually a missed stitch" per their advertising.
when i opened the box today there was a free pair of boot socks and two small
jars of AquaSeal waterproofing/leather conditioner with the boots.
i have nothing to do with BootsUSA other than being a very satisfied customer.

If you should have any customers in the future requiring you to ship to Norway: there is no customs fee to pay, but VAT of 24% must be paid to get the package delivered from the post.

   GREAT BOOT'S!!!...at a GREAT PRICE!!!! I got my Chippewa Snakebite boot's today, as you promised!!!...IT'S A MIRACLE!!!!,  FINALLY A PERSON, WHO IS SELLING YOU SOMETHING AND MEAN'S WHAT THEY SAY!!! They fit perfect, thank's to you...working with me, to find the correct size. I have already forwarded your web page, to several of my friend's. Trust me, I shall be "showing them off", to my co-workers tommorrow. I will tell you though, that the boot's were described as dyed black, and appeared black +grey, in the website photo...appear to me, to look all black indoor's, and deep chocolate brown "lower's", with chocolate brown "upper's", outdoors...which is perfectly fine by me... as, if they had grey lower's, as in picture, I feared I would not be allowed to wear them with my work uniform              I work for the N.P.S., in the leaves, brush, and timber on a daily basis. I feel much more protected, from the "critter's", with this boot...THANKS!!!!!   Matthew M.                      
PS. don't mind if you use this as a testimonial, and delete the part about the color...IF you describe the "mis-coloration" better in you advertisement...worked out GREAT, for me...but some customer's may become upset...packing slip described them much better... " brown boot's, dyed     black" I believe that, "that" description, would sell better ...in my mind anyway, as boot looks better to me, than in the photograph  PS, PS  I believe with wear, that this boot will become the "brown" boot, that I originally wanted!!! ...Went for the "black", only because of the savings !!!                                                                                   Thanks again!!!!

Thank you for the note.  I got my boots on Monday and used them yesterday for the first time.  To refresh your memory, I am a minister who uses his motorcycle for transportation so I needed something into which I could stuff my pant leg and which would look presentable when I arrived to wherever I was going.  Those Chippewa boots are tremendous.  Thank you very much for a great boot at a great price.

Just a short note to say THANKS!!!! for getting the Snakebite boots to me soooo quickly.  I really was looking for them on Monday or Tuesday since we live in a very small town in Georgia.  Well they came today (Friday the week before) and man am I pleased.

My company owned about 2000 acres of land in S Texas about 70 miles south of San Antonio.  Last week I was there dove hunting with some customers and previous to this trip, I had an experience with a 6 foot rattler that started to make me think.   So I found your site (bootsusa.com) and the rest is history.

I am heading back there next week and now with these boots on my feet, I should be better off.   Thanks again and have a good fall.
